Thread: Remapping or else?

Good evening,

I am buying an A3 1.9 tdie sportback 2009. I know the 2.0l is better but I have the deal of the century on the 1.9l.
However I would like to bump the power/torque, what is the best way to go without it costing me an arm or a leg and I need it it to be fairly not noticable to my girlfriend's ears.... naughty but I can go backward

Remap. If she asks why it's quicker just tell her you had a full service done on it lol

If she has driven it before then yes. As you will be stuck into your seat with a nice upgrade in torque

If you have DPF it is advised this is removed for the remap as it can cause issues, thats when it gets more expensive

You won't have the DPF on a 1.9
