    Metal rusty pate behind brake disk????

    What is that metal plate behind the brake disk called, mine are rusted to **** so just need to know what it is called so I can find replacements.

    I know some people have painted theirs with hammerite but I have knocked a big chunk of mine off so would ike new ones.

    They are backing plates. About £7 each from Audi.
