Thread: Lights remain on when parked?

I parked up by work today, kerbside, locked up the car and went into work. It was 4 hours later when i returned to the car when i noticed the n/s/r taillight was still on and both sidelights?

Also I will add that the "coming home" switch or whatever its called was off, if that makes a difference

Any idea why?

Did you leave the indicator on? Might be parking lights.

Dodgy headlamp switch?

Surely there would be an alarm buzzer if park lights were on?

Doesn't sound good. Is it still doing it?

Was it dark ?

Indicator switch left on when parked up, which puts whichever side light on.

I may have left the indicator on, ill give it a try later. Thinking about it, it doesn't do it every time I park kerbside so this may be the answer. I have a car park space where i live and that's next to a kerb but its never done it there. It wasn't dark either. I have auto sensing lights which I leave in auto most of the time. I switched it to "off" but they were still on. I'll update later...
