Thread: Bonnet cable Stuck?? A3 8p

As above

the handle pushes up but wont click the bonnet up

so took the cable off handle side
and pulled it, and still wont pop the bonnet up

the cable hasnt snapped

any ideas?(something stuck in bonnet mech in engine bay)?

How can i open it?

I've had this happen to my car many times.....

you need to get underneath the car and get a long metal rod and try and push open the lock from underneath.

Can you actually touch the rod with the pipe yep? or very hard too but capable with alot of moving?

(hopefully its as easy as it sounds)

Yes you can ....Somebody done it for me twice.
