Lose of Power

Hi Guys,

Puchased a 2003 Audi A3 TDI (140) Sport on Saturday.

I got the car at Trade so no Warranties etc

All was going well over the weekend but on my journey home from work today the car suddenly lost power as though
it had no turbo. I was on the motorway at the time and struggled to get up steep hills.

No lights appeared on the dash

I managed to get to my local Sainsburys and went in to pick some shopping up (feeling rather down!)

On returning to my car 15 minutes later I headed home and all was back to normal with the turbo kicking in

The car does have the police siren sound on acceleration

Has anyone had these symptons?

Is the Turbo a gonna or is this possibly something else?

By the sounds of it, its another turbo on its way out or sticky vains ive got the same car on a 04 plate i had the same problem and had to replace the turbo. your best bet it to get it on the diagnostics if its coming back as "over boost" then you know you are goin to have a problem. All the best mate i hope its not the case.
