Hi There, I just wondered if there is a measurement that anyone new of about how much wheel bolt should screw into the hub??

Basically I have just removed my standard 17" avus wheels and replaced them with 2 x genuine audi 18" et33 & 2 x aftermarket et35 wheels, And I might have been a bit paranoid but when I was turning the nuts it felt like a lot less revolutions on the old wheel brace than normal.

Any info appreciated?

I used to run my TT with spacers which meant 5-6 full turns on each bolt maximum. Worried me initially, but never had any issues at all in k's of miles.

I have known people to run with 3 turns and not had any issues (think that equates to 3mm in the thread). I would go for >10mm in the thread given the option

Dangerous game that.
I just hope you don't take anyone else out with you when your wheel falls off!
