Hi Had my engine management light come on last night. Gave it a scan with a mates vag com and it came back with two error codes.

04803

Anyone know what this could be ? Car seems to be driving normal.

Are you sure your mate was using the official VCDS (previously vagcom) ?

Neither of those fault codes are listed in the Ross-Tech website fault code pages.

No it wasn't the official one.

I took it too Audi today to get it's MOT done. They diagnosed the car to have 2 problems.
Which will cost the following to get sorted:
Bank1 Lamda Probe £221.03
Solenoid valve and charcoal canister £262.12
Not too sure what to do as I would like to change the car soon and £500ish is alot to spend on a car that I want to change.

See if you can find a specialist independent VAG garage near to you. They'll probably do the job for half the price !

Worth a try anyway 'cos dealerships are a complete rip-off labour wise.
