Fitted my new seats yesterday, from a mk2 tt and the wiring plugs were different to those on my a3 so as expected the airbag light came on.

If I changed the plugs from my original seats onto the new ones cure this? Or can it be turned off via diagnostics? The seats are lovely and far outweigh the inconvenience of the airbag light being on but I am aware of the new mot laws coming into pal e meaning this would be a fail.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Might not be the same as mine but I remember when I changed my seats I had a warning light come on, I was advised on here to take the car out for a spin round the block which did the trick, light went off after a few hundred meters, yards, whatever.

Oksweet cheers, will try changing the plugs over and see if that works.

Many thanks

If they're the same pins on the end then yeah, but you need to also make sure the 3 pins are also round the right way as the previous so pin 1 to pin 1 etc
