audi a3 2.0 tdi dsg tapping when idle

hi there peeps need some serious help left my car parked up for the last week because i'm scared it might brake. its an audi a3 sline 2.0 tdi dsg 2005 plate i've had it for around 7 months around 2 months ago fuel emmision light come on looks like engine managment light but i didn't notice any difference in drive. 1 day i took my car to the shop and came back home then i noticed a tapping noise coming from under the engine it only happens when i'm in park or nuteral and its making like a whistling sound any help would be appriciated thanks
