I have just fitted some budget "superwhite" H7 halogen lights off ebay, £15 delivered for 2 side lights, 2 headlights, 2 main beam and 2 fog lights.
Was woth a go I though

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

I thought id post photos of the results incase anybody else has been looking at these.

To be honest, when they first went on in the daylight I was unimpressed because they still looked a bit yellow.
Defenatley an improvement on the standard bulbs that were in before.

Side lights are dimmer than the ones I took out.

Now that its dark im happy enough with them for now

I haven't changed the fogs yet as its getting pretty nasty out.

Sorry I have no before shots but im sure you have seen standard bulbs before

Sidelights in daytime still looking yellow.

Same again but with fast shutter speed so you can see the colour of the light better.

Looks smart, the only thing which i would be thinking about is how long they will last, that said they were cheap in the first place so if they do you 6 month and one pops then just buy another set, then you'll have plenty of spares.

True, I wont be too shocked if they dont last, ill just have to wait and see.
Ill update.

Ive got these too, they look good with LED sidelights.

Just bought another set to go in fogs or full beam.
