Air bag light just came on

It just came after coming back to my car. Was only gone 5 mins haha

What does this usually mean? Quick fix or a pro job?

could be anything, depends on why the light actually lit up in the first place.
get the car scanned to check for errors and reset the light. See if it comes back.

Well you have a loom on both sides for the front seats.. If you have been pulling the seats back and forth quite a lot it can loosen the connection on them and the air bag light can come on.

Happend to me, secured connection and removed the light.

Is the loom underneath the seats and easy to check and secure?

Yeah should be ok..pull the seat about half way back and pull the look forward. Have a look for fraying wires or loose ones. You will need someone to then turn the light off for you.

Un bolt the wires on the battery FIRST so there's no current in.

Right ok, just to make sure I've got this right...

1 - Disconnect battery
2 - Check cables and reconnect if necessary
3 - The light wont go out once reconnected? Does this need to be done via VCDS?

Quite a common fault tbh, as already suggested, just check connectors under the seat & you'll need vcds anyway to remove the light.

You got it right..

You never no it could just turn off. But other wise it will need a program to turn it off.
