Hi I have bonnet open light on, no wipers when stationary, and can't set alarm......microswitch in lock?

Yup your bonnet switch may have gone. Pain in the **** and not cheap to get sorted from Audi unless you can do it yourself.

Still under warranty from independent garage I got car from..they can do it then..

Yeap as above, but give it a burst of wd40 & manually move it back/forth.
