Audi S3 8P Coilovers

Hi!

I need some advices on coilovers for mine and mates S3 (both 2008),
we were planning to get Bilstein B8 dampers with H&R springs but something
came between the order and now we are really considering to go coilies route.

We need something reliable,firm and not bouncy!
What do you recomend for daily use and occasional racing on bumpy roads?
The budget is 700GBP

Yeah mate i know what it's like!
Everytime when i go slow i'm not enjoying at all
and it's gettin worse day after day!!!

KW's are off my budget i think!?
What about AP coilovers-the X ones?

You could get a used set of kwv 2 and possible 3 for your budget , i seen a member sell a set of kwv3s for £500 i know this is rare but it does happen.

How much is the maximum lowering with KW Variantes (and is it the same with V1, V2 & V3)? I know what the manufacturer says but haven't seen pics of cars running KWs all the way down so just wondering will they do low enough...
What about the difference between V1 and V2? Is there a noticeable difference if the car is mainly used for everyday driving rather than racing?

Does anyone know what H&R ultra lows are like for the S3 & if they do them. I know they fit the mk5 golf platform.

If not I do like the sound of KW ultra low, any idea of price etc.

great choice
got my set as a 2nd hand from a friend who sold his car for a similar price
they are great, but you need some time to set them. and next you should get ARB's.

Today i fitted KW V3 coilovers and all i can say is
We set the ride height the same like was before on H&R springs,
the ride is low and comfort,no bounce and really firm!
Money well spend
Will took some pics of stance tomorrow!
