When i am driving it is showing mg boot as being open but it isnt.. Then when i stop and the lock the car the alarm goes off as it thinks the boot is open? Any help on this would be great!

Common problem pal, you need to take the cover off the inside of the bootlid and check the lock sensor, it is a small sensor that sits on the locking mechanism that tells the car if the boot is shut or open, this can be faulty due to your rear washer jet leaking which then leaks onto this sensor, this is also a common fault.

A see.. That leads to another problem as my back wiper isnt working at all, it has just stopped half way up the windscreen haha. Are the sensors expensive to replace?
There normally just soaking wet! The pipe for the rear jet goes through the wiper motor! Sounds like the usual it has split where it joins the motor so has squirted out all over the wiper motor and door lock below! Take the trim off the back of the bootlid and all should be revealed!!
