Airbag Light

My airbag light came on while driving to work the day !

anyone else had this problem ? Ive had the car for just over a year on done about 10,000 miles so I would hope its not problem with the car !

gonna book it in to dealer if still on when i go home

I had this on my Type R Civic - a wire had come loose from one of the sensors - two minute job at the dealers.

Try and get someone with VAG-COM to reset your airbag light - that's all the dealer will do but will charge you about £40 for the pleasure!

Not if its under warranty which any new shape A3 would be...

Had the same problem after having car about 5 months. Rang dealer who suggested I called Audi Assistance out. The chap came and put the light out it but the thing came back on again (loose connection on the drivers seat airbag apparently).
Booked it in to the dealer who did the same thing but it came back on the same day. It was replaced the following week under warranty.
