Aware that the S3 conversion topic has been covered a lot, but cannot find the answer to my question.

Would a 2009+ S3 rear valance and separate diffuser fit the main larger section of a 2007 S3 rear bumper?

Apologies for the wording, difficult to explain.

No you will need an 8P3 Rear bumper.

From what I can gather the facelift bumpers are 1-piece with a separate clip out diffuser unlike the earlier SLine/S3 ones that were 2-piece with "fake" diffusers in the lower half.
