Quick RNSE/ Disc Changer Q

Managed to get hold of a 2011 LED sat Nav for the S3 when it arrives. The car has a glovebox 6 disc as well as concert double din at the moment.

Can I still use the CD changer alongside mapping or does the music have to go on the SD card ?

My understanding is you could still use it although sdhc is much much better
