I am looking to install an OEM bluetooth model in a 2007 A3 SB with Bose and concert head unit.

I've read various threads listing different versions which distinct in their letter following the commmon serial number(K has firmware problems and D only has basic functionality)

I've been sent the spec below

9377D OB5372157

HW ???8P1 862 335 H41

SW? ??8P1 862 335 0650

MANUFACTURE DATE 27 4 2011

NEW UNUSED, SOFTWARE CODING IS CURRENTLY 0000000 AND DOES REQUIRE CODING DEPENDANT ON VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT INSTALLED IN THE CAR

THE UNIT WORKS IN A4 UPTO 2008 OLD SHAPE, TT AND A3 ALSO A2 IT IS K LINE AND CAN LINE COMPATABLE AND CAN BE WIRED TO BOTH TYPES OF SYSTEM.

Ideally I want to pair to an Iphone 4 and have the full phonebook come thru on the DIS

Does anyone know how to determine which version the above kit is?

thanks

Paul

You should be fine with that one - manufacture date suggests latest model - MY2011 units seem to have stopped with the usual letter suffix and just end at the 335 rather than having a K or D etc. I fitted the same revision to our A4 this year and all fine on all flavours of iPhone.
