Need a new cooling fan

So it appears that the extended warranty the garage gave me isnt worth the paper its written on

so i need to get a new cooling fan unit for my A3 now where is the best place to get one or is sending the car to the garage the easiest thing to do, i know i prob wont see much change from £300
