Sportback Vs 3dr

Hi,

I'm looking at changing for my 07 3dr S3 for either the S3 Sportback or an A5 sportback. My daughter 'Wants her own door'. Bless her she's nearly 6.

Anyway, how different does the sportback drive to the 3dr? Any niggles to know about before I go and test drive?

Moving from an 8P2 to an 8P3 model will be more of a difference than adding 2 doors... Not sure which A5 you are looking at but I test drove the 3.0TDI at launch and even though the interior is a step up from the A3's (especially the B&O sound system) I found the ride wasn't very involving and the steering was way too light (should've test driven the S5 instead!).
