18inch bbs A4 wheels - use for summer or winter?

i have a spare set of 18inch bbs pescara wheels off an A4 (so 8 inch, ET43), they same style as the golf edition 30. can't decide whether to stick the winter tyres on these or get them refurbed and sprayed grey to match the car and keep them for the summer. Care at mo has standard 18inch s-line 10 spokes.

Anyone running A3 with these bbs wheels, would like to see what looks like?​

Could you not use the BBS all year round? sell the standard wheels to pay for other modifications?

Thats smoothies a3 with 18" pescaras. They are ET52 ish though

Why don't you stick the winter tyres on them and put them on for winter then in the spring get them refurbed and summer tyres fitted. That way you have them on for the winter and then will have them looking new for summer.

Painted rims are fine all year round, just layer em up when it comes to salt time!

yer think i'll get a winter out of them then get them refurbed - its only my missus car so don't really want to spend too much on it! I only use it to go mountain biking - my s2000 doesn't do carrying bikes!
