remap causing fault codes?

hi,i have a problem with my 3.2 v6 it is showing a fault code 18011-internal control module which from what i've read means a faulty ecu,i have recently had the car mapped,does this come up regularly after mapping or should it not cause this fault code?

You shouldnt have a fault code after a remap on a 3.2 i would take it back to whoever mapped it and see what they say as its ECU related..
