hey guys,

I just stumbled on this on German ebay and wanted to share it with you...

a cheaper version of the flat bottom Multi function steering wheels... for those that have the normal shield type airbag

now this is in german and it explains that you would need to send back your steering wheel to get the deal so is this actually a good cheap deal?

what do you think?
 
320 plus old steering wheel !!! you can buy the i am for 450 !!!
 
just found this written at the bottom of the auction:

"If
we should send the steering wheel outside of germany , the exchange-service is not possible . You can keep the parts without shipping your old parts back if you pay for the parts extra. Please ask us about that before you bid !"
 
whack it with a hammer a few times and you will probably get the same shape lol
 
Be careful !! The angle of those airbag screws indicates to me that most A3 airbags will not fit. It is the alternative type usually fitted to the A4.
 
My A3 has angled screws in the airbag just like that. Am I special?

It just doesn't look quite right. Airbag cover doesn't suit the rest of the wheel IMO
