Looks great - and begs the question of why they didn't just give us this in the first place! Seriously, one useful and one useless cup holder, both in a useless location... you'd think some bright spark would go "This isn't quite right, let's just use the US style"

    No probs lad

They are the prices I paid that are on the documents I got from TPS but I will double check this evening when I get home.

Is there a USB cable that can be fitted instead of the AUX since my Pioneer already has the Aux in the glove box for use of the ipod there.

or maybe someone knows the part number for this one?

Ok so i have just looked this up on ETKA and the part numbers listed for the part shows this:

The confusing part is that it lists the same part twice with different PR codes... one has no mention of any thing extra where the bottom one lists the UF PR's which are shown as :

    UF0 - Without Electric interface
UF1 - Electric interface for external use
UF2 - Electric interface for external use

Now it has all 3 on the same part number so how are you meant to order it without the hole for AUX?

The other part number listed there as 8P0 863 387 F has a PR of UF7 which it lists as
UF7 - Electric interface for external use

So how do we know which is which??

Just don't get carried away with the cutting, that is all. I did it in stages so cut small bits at a time. In the end when it was very close, I ended up cutting inside the car.

Handy enough job but just time consuming.

Ok so I have just secured a really good price discount for the complete kit from my TPS dealer but I would have to place an order for £10 units.

As far as i have got the info from Boydie (Boydie please confirm if i am wrong here) i have asked for the following parts:

    000979227EA (x2) - Repair wire

    000979023E (x1) - Repair wire

    1J0919321 (x1) - 12v Socket

    8P18632416PS (x1) - USA Centre Console

8P0863387G6PS (x1) - 12V supply, lighter and slot for Aux

    8J0035475 (x1) - Aux

    1J0972977G (x1) - Plug for Aux

    8P1 898 173 6PS (x1) - Covers

    Total Kit Price @ £145

I can get these parts ordered as soon as I get 10 people down for the parts and once i have them i will personally ship them out to the respective addresses, I will have to confirm the postage prices with you guys later as i am not entirely sure how much it will come to as it would be a large parcel.
If anyone wants to suggest anyone that can do cheap-ish deliveries that would be great.

Please let me know if you guys are interested in this?

Ash, check out www.parcel2go.com for deliveries. If I had any confidence fitting one of these I'd be quite tempted...

    Hi,

could you explain (or better take a picture) how do you use wires ? Because I'm confused. I tried to do a clean wire to use a Cigar Lighter and a 12v plug.

    000979227EA (x2) - Repair wire

    000979023E (x1) - Repair wire

    Are both female plug.

    Thx

    Pab

Cant remember off the top of my head but one of the wires is longer and thicker than the other.

    OK thanks.

In page 3 you had talking about 000979220E WIRE SET x 2 and 000979130E WIRE SET ==> those ones are male plugs.

I do not understand how did you plug all this stuff :
    0009792273EA WIRES x 2
    000979220E WIRE SET x 2
    000979220E WIRE SET x 2
    000979023E WIRE SET
    000979130E WIRE SET

It's looking that way and I will need to, just to stop the endless grief from the other half
