Please help my friend has a 2004 A3 2.0 tdi which he recentley purchased ,whilst checking over a few weeks later he noticed that the fans have never worked even with aircon on ,we found the fan plug coupler disconnected .After reconnecting it the left hand fan (VIEWED FROM FRONT FACING THE CAR)never stops and flattens the battery obviously the previous keeper knew any ideas please the dash temp gauge reaches 90 and stays there cheers jimbo

Common fault, needs new fans and controller which is part of the assembly. Your looking at around £300...
