Just fitted my11 rear lights and s-line spoiler to my car to give the rear a facelift.
But the exhaust still looks like its from the 1920's.

Does anyone know what i need to use to clean it and make it look shiny like new?
Will it ever be able to get back to a shiny state?

Depending on how bad it is, very fine wire wool with Autosol metal polish

Mine was very bad and looked like it had never been cleaned. I used a small tin of brasso and kitchen roll and bought it back to new

Autosol worked wonders on mine when i first got the car. If they are really bad use it with some 00 grade wire wool

aaaaand +2!!

I did this last week, hadn't touched the exhaust for 15 months (since i have owned it!) so thought I should give it a go. Started on it with nxt metal polish and a cloth. nothing happened! eventually did exactly as munchkincoupe said, cracked out the fine wire wool and autosol and it was like new within half an hour!
