WAK BOX - can i do this to my A3?

People have been drilling holes in air boxes and adding extra air feeds since tuning started so yes you can.

There's no point doing this in an A3 as the air filter is located above the turbo, drilling holes in the airbox above here would let more warm air in, and its not in a position where you can duct in extra cool air in either to this location easily either. nor it would be of much benefit.

On what engine? 2.0tfsi no, as above airbox is above turbo. 2.0tsi or tdi iirc the airboxes are at the front right hand side so could be done and extra cold air feed added easily

Out of interest has anyone actually done this on the 2.0 tdi? I did it on my 8l s3 and it sounded good.
