Does the diesel have insulation mats on the inside of the bonnet?
My 2.0FSI doesn't have insulation under the bonnet, and I think it is too loud when idling after a cold start. It is very smooth and quiet once you get going, but I would like the car to also be quiet when i'm standing still.
If the mats can be ordered separately, I think I would like to do this myself. Also, I guess this sort of stuff can be had much much cheaper from other suppliers than Audi

Yeah, tyre noise from the conti sport 2's is pretty high aswell. Allthough I am pretty impressed with their performance / grip both in dry and wet.
