Advise pls before i buy

Ok guy's for a while ive been looking for an a3 tdi s-line 170. My friend who is in the trade has called me today saying he has found one for me. Its the spec i was after with low miles and full service history. Only thing is it's a quattro. Are there any known issues with the 4wd system? Thanks

The quattro system is awesome, go for it! Only issue is the extra service costs to change the haldex oil every 40k iirc.

Get it ive not heard of issues with the system. As said just keep it serviced :thumbsup:

Sound's like a plan to me. It's got full audi service history with it and its only done 65k so should be ok

I wouldn't want an A3 that was FWD. QUATTRO every time please.

Go for the quattro, mine has just had a full haldex service and assuming you look after it they are very good systems! On my third quattro car and very pleased.

Id be more worried about problems with the turbo or dpf than the quattro system tbh (the quattro system are pretty reliable as long as the have been serviced as required/oil/filters)
