New Disks/Pads what are my options?

My A3 was in for a service last week+cam belt/water pump.
Came back all good, but with a note saying the brake pads are 85% warn, and the disks will need replacing soon.

So, what are my options, anything aftermarket for around the same money as OEM Audi replacements?
or do I just go to my local motor factor and change myself for pattern parts.

If you are going to source pads yourself be careful of fakes. There was a piece on watchdog (I think) about "audi OEM" fakes floating about and how bad they are compared to genuine.

yeah i saw that, it was on the day i picked my car up, and mrs plezz is convinced the Audi dealer put some of those on mine to save money!
