LIMP MODE! :(

Basically the car my A3 2.0 TDI went into limp mode twice on the way to and from the hospital today! It's an 8P1 with 140,000 on the clock. I tried a test that i read about somewhere to test for sticky vanes, i put it in third and floored it from 1000rpm to the red line and it was fine. It seems to happen when your on the motorway doing about 80mph and you put your foot down. If anyone near GU21 has a VCDS and can check it out for me it would be much appreciated.

Just had it diagnosed as overboost. Anyone know anyone in the southeast who can do the innotec turbo cleaner at a fair price? Or anyone know of a place that is reasonable for reconditioned turbo's?

Try the Innotec cleaner first before you buy a new turbo. Only place i know that can clean the turbo with Innotec is R-tech but they are near Birmingham i think. You can always have a go yourself :weight_lift2:
