NEED HELP QUICK!!HOW DO I STOP MY FAN FROM RUNNING?!!!

I HAVE A 2.0 TDI 2003 AND THE FAN JUST KEEPS ON RUNNING WHEN THE CAR IS OFF AND I HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY TO STOP IT DRAINING IT.ITS THE FAN ON THE LEFT AS I HAVE TWO.CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP BECAUSE ITS REALLY P****N ME OFF AND CANT GET IT LOOKED AT UNTIL NEXT WEEK!! CHEERS

Is there an engine light on? Mind did this when the intake manifold flap failed and is common on diesels. Unplug it and fit a new fuse. To check if your fuse has blown open the fusebox in the engine bay and it is one of the fuses towards the front of the car. Hope this helps

mine did that too had to replace the fan which was costly get it on vag com see if there are any faults..

Yep it's the Fan Module ......I had the same problem 2 months ago....it's a common fault. It cost me £200 to replace all the fans.....
