Car just looses all power and stops for a split second......

Hi all, It has only happened twice so far but something is not right. When planting my foot to the floor at about 5000 rpm the power stops and its like someone is tapping the break for a split second and then the power is on again through the rev range. Im not sure if its always at 5000 rpm ( its only happened twice in 2 weeks) I have a 2.0tfsi quattro 2005 i was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. I dont think its a misfire i have no codes as they have been cleared about a week ago and it still happened.

yes sock its sound like the same problem do you know what is causing it? i have changed the dv upgraded it and also new irodium plugs 4 weeks ago. but this problem arised 2 weeks ago :/ the fault code was a maf code which was me playing so i have cleared that. x
