ESP warning on start up and esp light on dash all the time!

Hi all,

I was hoping somone would be able to give me some advice or point me in the right direction. I have a sportback 1.8 T sline on a 07 plate, and when you start the car I get the Esp warning on the display with a warning tone and mentions the hand book. Then all the time the amber esp light is on the clocks and can't be turned off. Any ideas whats it could be and if there is a audi specialist around newcastle upon tyne apart from the main dealer.

check the link above, usually its abs sensor which aint cheap.

I had exact same problem as you. After several trip back to Audi and a master technician scratching his head for several days, they ended up having to remove half the interior to replace the whole bridal!

Get it scanned with VCDS before going to the stealers. Will cost you less and give you the idea of what might be wrong.

Hi, I`ve got a 2004 Audi a3 s line 3.2 quattro, The Esp light is on & doze not go over 2000 revs, When switching the key on & off about 5 or 6 time the car is ok agian, WHAT IS THIS? I have changed the coil packs & spark plugs.
