CAM BELT KIT AND WATER PUMP

MY WATER PUMP AS TINY LEAK so getting it done soon which is the best to get genuine or none genuine
also shoukld i get pump with plastic fins or metal ?

same as the cam belt kit does it matter if genuine or none genuine ?

Yes used them before fir the bits but have a small leak running
Down the back of the block so may get a genuine
Pump

General consensus is replace the plastic impeller pump with a metal one to avoid future breakages.

Most indi's advise that replica parts are made to OEM quality anyway so I wouldnt worry too much about OEM parts. I never have and touch wood, never had am issue.

Not sure if it's the case now, but I remember when I changed the water pump in my mk4 Golf, VW only supplied pumps with plastic fins & GSF supplied pumps with metal or plastic fins.
