Help. Are these S3 or S5 Chrome Wing Mirrors

I just bought these wing mirrors that where advertised as the facelift S3 wing mirrors but im not sure.
On the back of the mirror it has a part number that reads 8K0 857 535 E while inner bit of the housing
has a microscopic number that reads 6K0 949 101.
The top part of the chrome bit has two lines that run accross it as you can see in the third picture.
Audi dealer said those numbers means nothing.
Please, someone, help me.






 
Those look like the 2011 S3/S5 ones to me, Buddy. I sold my S3 facelift (2010) mirrors last week (pictured below) and they are different to the ones you have. I believe they will fit both S3's and S5's, but it depends on what year model the car is. I'd say those you have shown are definitely the later MY11's though.

i was at the dealers today and saw this on an MY09 sportback S3.

 
No probs, Buddy. Those ones you posted just there are the same as on my 2010 S3, but they're not the same as the ones you have bought. When was your car first registered?
 
The ones you pictured at the dealers are these ones -

PART NUMBERS (for the alu mirror covers only):
8T0 857 527 A / 8T0 857 527 C (Left)
8T0 857 528 A / 8T0 857 528 C (Right)

Audi A3 / S3 8P / Sportback / Cabrio / = Facelift (from 07/2008 - 05/2010)
Audi A4 / S4 8K B8 (from 2008 - 05/2010)
Audi A5 / S5 / Sportback / Cabrio (from 2007 - 05/2010)
Audi A6 4F / S6 / RS6 / = Facelift (from 2009 - 05/2010)

Those parts numbers won't help.... the alu cover + mirror should fit whether S5 or A3 IIRC but the actual housing that attaches to the car will not if it's from an S5. The part number for the alu covers is on the inside of it and you will need to remove it to see the part number for this- be careful as the clips are easily broken if forced.... I can't remember where the part number for the part that attaches to the car is but it's not the PN you gave before I don't think.
 
The part number 6k0 949 101 is written just to the right of where this arrow points to in the picture below.

 
sorry to bump an old thread, but how much are the alu covers from audi?
 
its not worth the hassel.
Audi will charge you around £220-245 EACH, so you would be looking to part with a tad under £500.
if you want my opinion i would say dont go to the stealers.
buy it secondhand.
try to loook at the Ebay German site.
