hi guys i have a 1.6 se a3 57 reg just wondering is it a straight swap to change the grill to an s3 style grill or cant do it due to diffrent bumper etc if so anyone know where i could buy one ?

Will fit SE models. SE Sport and S-line models share the same size grills. He probably got him self confused with the B7 A4 where the SE and S-line grill are different sizes.
 
with the a3 only the S3 has got a different size grill all the rest of the models have the same size only different design on the s-line , so yeah that will 100& fit your se buddy
