Anyone else noticed that the indicators on the facelift Sportback lights are not very bright/noticeable at all?
Have noticed it on all other Sportbacks I've seen. They're only bright if you're close and looking dead on at them. The old style larger indicators are much brighter and obvious as the light is diffused better; it's as if the thin indicators on the new style are too thin for the bulb to be used effectively. They're very poor when you compare them to pretty much any other new car on the road which have very bright and obvious indicators but the new Sportbacks are not and I've noticed a couple of times they've been unseen by other road users, especially in sunnier conditions. For this thin "strip" design they really ought to be LEDs.
