I have been searching high and low to find out the problem with my radiator fans but i cannot seem to resolve the problem they are like hoovers always on mega speed and lately they have been acting funny.. my temperature needle doesnt move and the fans dont come on and now keep getting a coolant low light VCDS brings up a fan controller error and as the controller is on the fan i have decided to replace the fans

this is for my 53 plate 8P 2.0 FSI A3 can anyone point me in the right direction as to how i can replace the fans myself?

will i need to remove the bumper?

You don't have to remove the bumper .....but you will have to remove the bottom tray. I had the same issue where the fans would not stop running until my battery was dead. Just undo the bolts and slide it through and replace.
