Hi everyone,

I've just got off the phone to AMD about having my A3 2.0FSI remaped and they said it all depends on which ECU you have.
If you have the later version it will cost £350 and only take about 3 hours to do.
If you have the earlier version it will cost £650 and take the whole day!!!

Is there anyway one can find out which version of the ECU they have?

Not sure mate, but I would be interested also..

Let us know about the results with performance, once you've done it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Will do. The bloke at AMD said you can expect improvement of 15 to 20 bhp and 15 to 20 lbs or tourque. Then he said, i know that doesnt sound much in numbers but the car is much more responsive through the entire rev range. More low down torque and it make the car a lot more fun to drive. AMD can check your ECU model number if you give them your chassie number, its in your service book!
They are phoning me back in 30 mins..... oooohhhh the excitement!!!

Remember to get it dynoed before/after, to show us some graphs also /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
