Upgrading air intake?

Hi guys,

Thinking about upgrading the air intake to possibly like the one in the link, reckon upgrading is a good shout or is there not much point. Anyone else running an upgrade on their A3?

tbh your better off sticking with the standard panel filter.

If you want to upgrade the panel filter then id be looking at a replacement Green Filter but in the time ive owned vag cars most people stick with original filters unless your running 300bhp plus

300bhp means at the flywheel or AWD/FWD? If at the flywheel then thats not much. A stage 1 reflash will give u more than that on an S3. Not sure about the TDI engines.

the standard filter will flow way more than you engine needs so its money waisted TBH

The guys got a TDi 140bhp ! when that is producing more than 300bhp anywhere your post might make some sense
