Hi Guys,

As so many have already tried installing LED's for the interior with resistors and other work arounds i was surprised to see a TTRS sitting in Docklands Audi that has as standard LED footwell, glovebox, vanity mirror lights and map reading lights.
I had a look in the boot but that had the old yellow glow to it.

Now the question is can these lights be fitted onto our A3's?
 
Hi, Yes they can be fitted into yours, only thing differant will be the wiring, you would either need to make your own loom up or try an find one already made up. not too sure on how much they are, i cant really see it being anymore than about £20 per lamp. i will get a part number if you want one?

On the new audi's when you buy the optional light pack you get the LED footwell lights, and then there is a further LED pack which will also give you led vanity mirror lights and map lights.
 
Not just on a TTRS the courtesy a1 I had out the other week had LEDs everywhere not impressed that mine doesn't!!!
 
at £20 a light thats steep, might just go down the route of ebay LED bulbs and resistors. just wondering what the OEM solution was.
