My rear wiper has died completely on my A3 2004 8P

I have read all over the net and and from what i can gather a MK4 Golf and scoka Fabia motor will also fit.

Can anyione confirm this as its cheaper to get a Golf or Skoda one than a Audi one.,

Thanks in advance

Golf Mk4 will not fit.

You need one where the washer nozzle rotates with the blade. Mk4 washer nozzle is static and has different type of cover.

I'm not sure Fran but if it is it'll be about the same price. !!

I had to replace mine after the harsh winter and my friendly VAG specialist got me one for £65. Unfortunately it was one that although stated as being for the A3 did not have the rotating washer nozzle. He eventually got me the proper on for about £85.

Can't remember the part number and haven't got ETKA going yet but from memory it has to be suffix 'D'

yeah my car suffered from that winter too my rear wiper spring broke and its still broken to this day lol will get round to it one day

I can get my hands on a 2006 a3 rear wiper motor. Am I right in saying that they are compatible across the 8P A3 range and years??

Can get it for 30 quid and better than the strealerd or fleabay

Would a a3/4 1996/2000 motor fit my 8p. Been offered one at a very very good price . They look identical in my opinion but one of the gurus here may know different

The one on my mk4 Golf rotated with the wiper, but that was because it was f*cked
Common problem apparently. I'm glad to hear the A3 is a different design.

£30 seems really cheap. The old mk4 Golf ones were going for around £50 on ebay when I was looking. Maybe because they were in such high demand.

Am still Trying to get an Audi one from scrappy is like rocking horse sh@t.

I have read everywhere and I have seen that the following ones also fit.

Skokda fabia
VW Golf

Will older 8L motors fit the 8P also

What years of these cars will the motors be cross comparable as it easier to get the others.

Mine is completely had it now and the arm drips down onto the boot lid. So many to choose from on fleabay and breakers

I've got one out my MK2 1P Leon if that's of any use?

Not got ETKA atm so can't check.

If I wanted to pay dealer prices I would have gone there. Why pay 90 when a scrappy off a 2009 model or comparable vag model will do

Please yourself sunshine - I was trying to help with the part number.

Why buy an Audi if you can't afford to keep it properly !!!!!!!!!

I had already read that post anyway.

I asked for some advice and some smart **** comes
On and points me to a part number. That I already have.

In the current climate if you can save a few quid then I'm all for it. It's not about not looking after an Audi

To keep it

I see you have 53 posts !!

A bit of advice fella - attitude like that will get you nowhere on this forum.

Hope you find what you want

I see you have 1800+ posts but this ain't a ******* competition or my dads bigger than yours.

I know how to use a search button and had not found my answer. I asked for some help as I could not find the answer I needed by doing so just alot of it might or maybes on other sources. I have had the motor out and noted tha part number and this is how i found out that they are comparable with other models and makes just unsure what years. If a skoda part is cheaper than an Audi just because it comes from skoda you do the math and work out where 99% of people would rather go for it.

Was just hoping that someone on here wod maybe know the answer.
