sorry im using this pic! Couldn't wait for N8's reply as my friend wanted to know how it was done. If anyone ever asked him about it and heard any info it would be great! in the mean time here are some quuestions 
-Was it made/molded out of original ash tray? if so is it cut through the top cap part of it ( fishscale/blk/alum part) ?
or
was the cap of the ash tray taken out and flush/ molded? and worked around it?
or has nothing to do with ash tray and it's built from scratch?
