Confusion with LED Lights

You Can order LEDs with resistors built in, however, from the posts i've read and friends experiences, these blow quite quickly.

I would suggested soldiering the resistors to the circuit. That's why i did and haven't had any problems.

Ive got LED number plate lights and sidelights.
Didnt need resistors and they work fine. Been on for around 3 months now.
Its a hit and miss really, if they work great if they dont you need resistors.

If i can find the links ill post them up.
 
audi upgrades
post 2006 ish your gonna need resistors before that you should get away with it.
i have sold and fitted led's on 2004 a3 and had no probs.
