    Confusion with LED Lights

I have searched the site and am still slightly confused.

I read this post which gave me some good information.

The A3/S3 LED Bulb "how to" Guide!

Do I need to order LEDs with resistors built in? My car is a 2004 so not sure if it will bring up errors?

You Can order LEDs with resistors built in, however, from the posts i've read and friends experiences, these blow quite quickly.

I would suggested soldiering the resistors to the circuit. That's why i did and haven't had any problems.

Check my thread out for pics.

Ive got LED number plate lights and sidelights.
Didnt need resistors and they work fine. Been on for around 3 months now.
Its a hit and miss really, if they work great if they dont you need resistors.

If i can find the links ill post them up.
