How do you remove the injectors? 08 plate S3

Got a free afternoon tomorrow so was thinking about removing the injectors and giving them a clean but I have little knowledge of Audi's so was hoping someone could advise me how?.

I have searched the site but can't find a how to guide, I have a decent mechanical know how but don't want to risk breaking something so could someone write me a quick guide on how to get them out and what to be careful of etc?

Also if there is any other general maintainance I can do while I'm at it please let me know

Gotta take the inlet manifold off to get them out, not that quick a job

Yeah I thought so, are we talking a couple of hours or longer?

It's a pig of a job. Just had to change a faulty injector on mine and my mate who is a Audi mechanic took about 5 hours to remove, fit a new injector and then re-fit!

I wouldn't bother unless there is a fault.
