Hi Guys, Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Bn having turbo problems with my a3 with the car going into limp mode at about 80mph. Put it into Audi dealer today and just got the dreaded call. My Turbo is dead! They gave me a price of £2000 !!!!!! fitted. Anyone know where i can get a replacment at a fraction of the dealer price????? Any help would be great! Cheers!

A number of us have had success with cleaning up the Turbo using the Innotec kit Innotec Supplies Ltd. - Turbo Clean Set
Other than that a good independent VAG specialist should be able to fit a recon turbo for about £600-750.
Probably best to have a diagnostic scan first to confirm that it is an over boost issue.

Yep its the 2.0 tdi, I bought and used the innotec kit last year and did nothing for me im afraid!

I got mine done a couple of months ago at an independent VAG specialist in Leeds. Exchange turbo including new oil pipe etc. to ensure warranty of 12 months cost £675
