Hi all

My PD 140 is almost undriveable around town. The accelerator pedal is almost like an on/off switch. The car drives fine when it has a few revs on it but can be an absolute pain at low revs. Any ideas?

Does it feel flat up until around 3k/3.5 rev's? My 2.0TDI was like this until I got it re-mapped. Those flat spots have now gone and the car effortless fly's through the gears! :w00t:

Hi

No theres plenty of power, but the initial throttle movement is like an ON/OFF switch. If I try to drive slowly at low revs the slightest movement of the accelerator either cuts power or kicks it in. Fine on the open road but an absolute jerky pain around town.

Get it scanned with VCDS or take it to a garage mate.

It could be a faulty throttle position sensor, are the parameters able to be set via vcd's??? Im asking this to whoever reads
