Power steering

There is no fluid reservoir as the power steering is electronically operated.

You need to get the car scanned for faults and/or take it to a VAG specialist for sorting out.

I'm afraid it doesn't look like you can earn any brownie points this time !

I had a similiar problem with with first A3. The steering was very heavy, almost as though it didn't have any power steering.
Anyway, the car was due to have its tracking done so had it aligned. Totally sorted the problem and steering returned to its normal weight.

And this squeaky noise you are talking about.... do you mean a high pitched squeak, or more of a lower squeak similiar to the nose made when your wet **** rubs against a bath???

If its a lower squeak then this is pretty normal when moving the wheels when stationery.
