    Service time?

    Hi Guys,

So I have a 06 A3 2.0 TDI sportback, which I have just booked in for a major service at Audi Leicester.

Does anyone know roughly how long this will take to do? Also, ive heard mixed reviews about service at Audi Dealerships. Is it still worth getting the car serviced at Audi?

I would have booked it in at an independent VAG specialist. They charge less and 99% of the time you can rely on them doing a good job.

Might have been a good idea to ask the question before you booked it in !!!!!!!!!

Should take no longer than half a day unless you have asked for something else as well.

All depends really, it does look better on the history, if anything like a brake pressure sensor should go wrong with the car then a good will gesture will often be made when a FASH is present

But then again when a certain amount of miles/years has passed on the car you have to call it a day at the main dealers as its just not worth the extra cost! Just depends what those year/miles are for yourself as everyone is different. As for time i would agree with around half a day, but the dealers should have a car service to bring you back home and then pick you up again when the car is ready! Thats how my dealer operates

Thing is, its the first time I am having the car serviced as only had the motor for a few months so just thought id rather take it to audi to get everything sorted out.

Also, my emissons light came on recently, so hopefully they will be able to sort that out...

Cool, thanks for that. will follow through (no pun intended) and get it serviced at audi this first time then look at other VAG specialist for the following years

just worried about the emissions light being on in the motor now. hoping it wont cost and arm and a leg to sort out!
